We island hopped to Maui for the weekend. Our flight there was delayed so we missed out alot on our 1st day evening there. We grabbed dinner and settled to our airbnb and rested. Our main goal was to go to the Haleakala crater to watch sunset while we were there for the weekend but the road was close due to a brush fire. It was sooo sad because that was our main reason for going to Maui. We explored the íao Needle park, enjoyed some beaches, ate at food trucks, and explored part of the Road to Hana instead. Another trip is definitely needed to make it up to Haleakala and go further to the road to Hana. I had a great time nonetheless! I loveee adventures with my family!

Since we were just winging it in Maui, we decided to check out the South Maui Garden Oasis food truck park. It’s one of the biggest in the island! We got some smoothies and acai bowls before we started on our adventure to the Iao Needle.

After fueling up with some yummy food, we headed to the Íao Needle to explore!

We then hiked to the bottom of the needle to play in the stream . The water was so cold but so refreshing! I loved playing in the rocks and enjoyed the view!
